Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT invites applications for a Home Care Worker to provide essential, practical in-home care for our elderly clients. You will support independence and improve daily living in clients’ own homes around Berrigan, with a focus on dignity and safety.

This permanent part-time role runs Monday to Friday in Berrigan, paying $36.23–$37.68 per hour plus $1.05 per kilometre and travel time. The position includes benefits such as salary packaging, a career with a leading human services

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Empathetic, resourceful and aligned with Uniting values.
• Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help at home with housekeeping, groceries, and meal preparation.
• Transport clients to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Assist with personal care and medication administration.
