A leading home care provider is looking for Entry-Level Home & Community Care Workers in Victoria. This role invites candidates with no experience to apply, as training programs are available. Responsibilities include supporting clients with daily tasks and providing companionship. Successful candidates will require a Certificate III in Individual Support and must be flexible in their working hours. This position offers a pathway to permanent employment.

Qualifications

  • Must have or be willing to obtain Certificate III in Individual Support.
  • Current National Police Check required.
  • A full driver's license is necessary.
  • Must have a vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Support individual participation in social and recreational activities.
  • Undertake tasks outside the home such as shopping.
  • Perform light domestic duties such as meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Facilitate transportation.

People with no experience are encouraged to apply for these vacancies, however a career pathway/ training program maybe required to complete prior to being put forward for the positions.

All training programs include first aid, CPR, training in Manual Handling and work placement. (Please note that these certificates and placement are not offered individually, only as part of a program)
