Job summary

NSW Health—Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Community Dietitian (Level 3) for Home Based Therapy. You will deliver community dietetics assessments and interventions to frail older clients and oversee the HBT service across SLHD sites.

The role is primarily based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, with possible duties at Canterbury Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital. This temporary part-time position supports NSW Health’s commitment to excellence in public health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Post Graduate degree or equivalent in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia with experience at Level 2 or higher.
• Experience in clinical nutrition for older people.
• Strong computer literacy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide community dietetics assessments and interventions for Home Based Therapy clients across three SLHD sites.
• Oversee the Home Based Therapy Dietetic service and ensure optimal health outcomes for frail older clients.
• Based primarily at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with potential duties at Canterbury Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
