Job summary

We are seeking an Electrical Technician - Hoisting (Fixed Plant) at Olympic Dam in regional South Australia. You will maintain hoisting systems and fixed plant, performing planned and breakdown maintenance with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will work within the Mine Maintenance team on a 7/7 roster, applying electrical trade skills to hoisting equipment and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a complex underground operation.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Australian recognised Electrical Trade qualification.
• South Australian A-Class Electrical Workers Licence or ability to obtain one.
• Proven experience with hoisting systems or fixed plant is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on hoisting systems and fixed plant.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults affecting performance and availability.
• Maintain safety standards and risk management practices on site.
• Update maintenance schedules and work history in the asset system.
• Collaborate with operations to prioritise maintenance tasks and improvements.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives in the hoisting suite.
