Job summary

Siemens Energy Sydney is seeking an HV Field Service Technician to provide on-site support, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair for high voltage equipment across NSW. You will travel up to 70% and work to meet customer needs with professional service and clear communications.

Reading electrical schematics, performing tests on AIS, GIS and transformers, and applying EH&S policies are core to the role. Strong troubleshooting and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Australian Electrical license is required.
• 5–10 years OEM/industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot high voltage equipment and systems.
• Perform electrical tests on circuit breakers, transformers, CTs and PTs.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and service reports.
• Travel to client sites and respond to short-notice requests.
• Ensure adherence to EH&S policies and high levels of customer satisfaction.
