About The Role

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a new workforce that is focused on developing a strong performance culture and a culture that values everyone’s contribution equally. As a High Voltage Electrician you will be required to:

  • Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of AC drive Electric Haul Trucks, workshops and facilities as directed in accordance with Thiess maintenance systems documentation.
  • Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
  • Completing General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Services and Component Change outs.
  • Periodical Statutory Electrical Testing/ Inspections
  • Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation
About you

  • Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role in heavy industry or construction
  • Current LVR/ CPR
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Current Standard 11
