Job summary

IPD Group is seeking an Electrical Tester / Calibration Technician in Bendigo to ensure plant, tools, and equipment meet statutory and client compliance. You will perform high voltage tests, calibrations, and repairs, communicating with customers and subcontractors to uphold safety and accuracy.

Travel to remote sites is required; the role supports our high and low voltage projects across Australia. A proactive, safety-minded professional with a willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics are desirable but not essential.
• Experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Calibration, or Processing fields is advantageous.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current State-issued driver’s license; HR Truck license is a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high voltage testing of plant, tools and equipment.
• Test, calibrate, repair and adjust inspection, measurement and test equipment.
• Communicate with customers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with performance standards.
• Complete tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Track and report stock usage, orders and requirements to management.
• Assist customers with replacement products, upsell and advise on services.
