Job description

We are currently seeking a safety and quality conscious HV Coordinator to join our team based in Brisbane.

In This Role, You Will

• Administer the HV permit-to-work system, including switching, isolations, earthing, and access permits in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the Authorised Person, developing and carrying out HV switching programs for energisation, de-energisation, and system reconfiguration.
• Coordinate with site management, HV technicians, contractors, and commissioning teams to ensure safe access, system availability, and achievement of energisation milestones.
• Lead risk assessments and maintain accurate records, providing progress updates, escalating issues, and recommending corrective actions where required.

About You

• Strong background in HV switching, operations, and permit-to-work systems.
• Authorised Person (AP) or Senior Authorised Person (SAP) experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HV safety rules, isolation procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and switching schedules.
• Organised and proactive, able to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Strong communication skills for providing clear instructions and progress updates.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• QLD Electrical Licence or ability to obtain
• Current HV Switching qualification
• Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
• Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
• White / Blue Construction Card
