Job summary

Camden's Charter School Network seeks a High School Grade Level Dean of Students to lead district operations and instructional improvement. The role collaborates with district leaders to set priorities, develop plans, and ensure execution of policies and programs across high schools.

The Dean will work with principals and district staff to strengthen instructional effectiveness, manage resources, and foster a data-driven culture focused on student achievement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with additional graduate work beyond the degree.
• Valid state certificate for Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent (New Jersey).
• Demonstrated administrative leadership experience.
• Strong supervision and evaluation capabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the school district and district programs.
• Collaborate with directors, coordinators, principals, and staff to set priorities and long-range plans.
• Attend Board of Education meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement district policies, governance practices, and continuous improvement processes.
• Lead instructional system development to improve student achievement and district culture.
• Manage resources, budgets, and district-wide initiatives in coordination with principals and staff.
