Job summary

QLD Building Construction Consulting Management Pty Ltd – Redcliffe is seeking an experienced Dogman for an 11-storey apartment project in Redcliffe. You will direct crane operators, sling loads, and coordinate lifts while maintaining a safe, efficient site around tower cranes.

Applicants must hold a current DG licence and White Card and have high-rise lifting experience. Strong safety commitment and reliable teamwork are essential; availability Monday to Saturday is required to support a major

Qualifications

• Current Dogman High Risk Work Licence (DG) required.
• White Card required.
• Proven experience as a Dogman on high-rise construction projects.
• Experience with Luffing tower cranes and lifting on multi-storey sites.
• Strong safety awareness and communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct crane operators during lifting operations using standard hand signals and radio communications.
• Safely sling, secure and guide loads during crane lifts.
• Coordinate the lifting and placement of construction materials across the multi-storey site.
• Inspect lifting gear and report damaged or unsuitable equipment.
• Establish and maintain exclusion zones around lifting operations.
• Follow approved lift plans, SWMS, site safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Communicate effectively with crane operators, supervisors and other site personnel.
• Identify lifting hazards and take appropriate action to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with general site duties when required.
