Job summary

DHL is hiring for an exciting Storeperson in Erskine Park to support fast-paced warehouse operations. You will be responsible for processing inbound/outbound orders, stock put-aways, and timely replenishment, using RF scanners and a Warehouse Management System to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires a high reach forklift licence, experience with WMS and RF scanners, and a proactive focus on safety and teamwork to meet customer expectations and uphold DHL's standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Valid high reach forklift licence (essential).
• Proven experience picking, packing, checking and dispatching orders.
• Experience using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
• Ability to work in a team and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong inventory management knowledge and data accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently processing inbound and/or outbound orders with accuracy.
• Carrying out put-aways into designated locations for stock control.
• Timely stock replenishment to maintain availability and operations.
• Use handheld RF scanners to process orders and manage inventory.
• Operate WMS to print labels and verify data accuracy.
• Assist with regular stocktakes to maintain inventory records.
• Maintain safe working environment with awareness of hazards.

• Efficiently processing both inbound and/ or outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Performing put-aways of goods into designated locations, maintaining organisation and accessibility.
• Timely replenishment of stock to ensure availability and smooth operations.
• Utilizing handheld technology, such as RF scanners, to facilitate order processing and inventory management.
• Operating a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to print labels and verify data accuracy.
• Supporting stocktakes as required to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Demonstrating awareness of potential hazards and actively contributing to a safe working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience working in a high-volume warehouse environment
• High reach forklift licence and experience (essential)
• Proven experience picking, packing, checking, and dispatching of orders
• Previous use of warehouse management systems including RF scanners
• Ability to work in a team with focus on giving excellent customer service
• Knowledge of inventory management
• Excellent attention to detail with a flexible, positive, can-do attitude
• Basic computer skills
• An understanding of the importance of adherence to WH&S policies and procedures
