We’re seeking safety-focused,reliable and motivated individuals to join our Flashbutt Welding teambased at our Port Augusta depot.
This is an opportunity todevelop your skills in rail welding, plant and equipment operation, railhandling and depot operations, while contributing to the delivery of criticalrail infrastructure.
In this role, you will assistwith the production and handling of long welded rail lengths used in ARTC’sre-railing and track maintenance works. You’ll operate machinery and gantrycranes, assist with grinding and welding activities, move rail, completeinspections and support the broader team to ensure work is delivered safely,efficiently and to a high standard.
The role is hands-on andphysically demanding, with the opportunity to gain valuable skills andexperience within the rail industry.
This role also requires theflexibility to travel intrastate for planned track work, typically 2-4 weeksper year.

Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets.
The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.
