Job summary

GHD in Perth is seeking an experienced Heritage Advisor to join our Western Australian Environment team. You will support and deliver heritage advice and approvals across projects in WA and nationally, with opportunities to grow in a multidisciplinary environment.

The role offers flexible working arrangements and the chance to develop expertise in areas you are passionate about, with encouragement to pursue growth and collaboration within the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience across heritage approval processes in Western Australia.
• Bachelor’s degree, and Honours or post graduate qualifications in archaeology or cultural heritage management.
• Experience in a consulting environment and ability to develop client relationships.
• Current Western Australian driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supporting heritage advice and approvals processes across WA and nationally.
• Working on projects across renewables, transport, water, energy, resources, and environment sectors.
• Investigating and reporting on heritage matters, including statutory approvals and consultation with Traditional Owners.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, internal specialists and sub-consultants, and government bodies.
• Mentoring and developing team skills, and supporting new business opportunities in Western Australia and nationally.
