LJW Employment Solutions is seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians to join our small, friendly Melbourne SE workshop teams, handling repair and maintenance of on-site fleet vehicles. This permanent, full-time role offers an attractive, negotiable hourly rate ($43-$47) with overtime and call-out penalties, plus ongoing training and tool insurance.

You will have a Cert 3 Heavy Vehicle Technician, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision; own tools required.

Formación

• Minimum Cert 3 Heavy Vehicle Technician trade certificate.
• Good diagnostic ability and welding/fabrication experience beneficial.
• Ability to work without constant supervision and communicate effectively with customers and drivers.

Responsabilidades

• Repair and maintain on-site customer fleet vehicles.

The employer is a large family-owned company with a strong Fleet Management division which operates nationally and services trucks, trailers, and related equipment for many large business operations across different industry sectors.

About the role

We need experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians to join our small, close-knit, and friendly workshop teams at two locations in Melbourne’s SE suburbs.

In these roles you will be required to undertake the repair and maintenance requirements of all on-site customer fleet vehicles whilst providing excellent customer service.

What you need:

• Qualifications - Minimum Cert 3 Heavy Vehicle Technician trade certificate

• Skills - Good diagnostic ability with welding and fabrication experience beneficial

• Interpersonal - Ability to work without constant supervision, and communicate effectively with fellow colleagues, customers and drivers

• Focus - High level of attention to detail and customer focus

• Licences - Current HC drivers licence desirable but not essential

• Tools - Own tools
