Job summary

North Coast Construction Equipment (NCCE) is seeking a qualified mechanic to join our Coffs Harbour team. The role covers tractors, excavators, loaders, and hydraulic systems, with a mix of workshop and field-service work to handle routine servicing through to complex diagnostics and major repairs.

The ideal candidate will have qualifications as Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Plant or Agricultural Mechanic and can diagnose faults independently.

About you

Ideally, you're a qualified Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Plant or Agricultural Mechanic who can confidently diagnose faults and complete repairs independently.

For the top rate of $50/hr, we're looking for an experienced technician who can independently diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults and consistently complete repairs to a high standard.

But you don't need to tick every box.

We're also interested in qualified Light Vehicle Mechanics with strong diagnostic and mechanical skills who want to make the move into construction and agricultural equipment.

Your starting rate will reflect your qualifications, relevant experience and current capability, with the opportunity to progress as your skills and equipment knowledge develop.
