Job summary

Hornby Transport Services Pty Ltd. in Thornton, VIC is seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at the Thornton depot. This full-time role offers a base rate of $50–$60 per hour, with overtime available, and exposure to a modern fleet including Kenworth, Western Star and Freightliner trucks powered by Cummins.

You will perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs across a range of heavy vehicles, both on-site and off-site as needed, while recording parts and work performed.

Qualifications

• Qualified heavy vehicle mechanic with relevant trade accreditation.
• Experience with truck diagnostics and repairs.
• Willing to work at the Thornton depot and on-site/off-site as required.
