Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Intermediate to Senior Accountant to join their Business Services division.
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
Preparation and review of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
Tax planning and advisory work for a range of clients across various industries
Liaising directly with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and budgets/forecasts
Reviewing work prepared by graduates and junior accountants (Senior level)
Supporting Managers and Partners on ad hoc advisory projects
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and ATO requirements
CA/CPA qualified, or actively working towards completion
Minimum 3-6 years' experience in an Australian public practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law and accounting standards
Proficiency with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)
Excellent communication skills, to liaise directly with clients
