Job summary
United Forklift and Access Solutions in Brisbane is seeking a hands-on mechanic to service and maintain heavy and light equipment from Caterpillar, Konecranes, and Haulotte. You will perform planned maintenance, safety inspections, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs to meet customer needs.
The role requires a Certificate III in Automotive, Mobile Plant, or Heavy Diesel Mechanics, with experience in heavy diesel or large-scale equipment, and strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Automotive, Mobile Plant, or Heavy Diesel Mechanics.
- Experience with heavy diesel or large-scale equipment.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Electrical and hydraulic experience.
- Background in material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain heavy and light equipment from brands like Caterpillar, Konecranes, and Haulotte.
- Perform planned maintenance (PMP) and safety inspections.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
- Conduct overhauls and system diagnostics.
- Assemble and commission new machinery.
- Modify equipment to meet customer requirements.
