Job summary

FindStaff are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Forklift Driver for our client in Milperra NSW. This role offers ongoing work with a pathway to permanent employment after 2-3 months for the right candidate.

You will operate a 7 tonne (or larger) forklift, load and unload heavy materials, and support yard operations with a strong focus on safety. Immediate start available for suitable applicants.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence (LO advantageous)
• Proven experience operating 7 tonne or larger forklifts
• Experience in salvage yard or heavy industrial environment recommended
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to perform manual handling and labouring duties
• Reliable transport and ability to commute to Milperra
• Full Australian working rights
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Operate a heavy-duty forklift 7 tonne or larger
• Load and unload heavy/oversized materials with long tynes
• Move and store assets weighing over 4,500 kg
• Assist with yard operations and material storage
• Complete general yard and labouring duties as required
• Follow all site safety procedures and company policies
• Work closely with a team of 5 staff to ensure efficient operations
