CANDII is seeking two Heavy Duty Fitters for FIFO work in Leonora. The roles offer a 2x2 roster, $75 per hour plus super, and a strong pathway in a growing maintenance team. Mostly workshop-based with field calls for breakdowns, and site inductions provided.

You’ll work on surface equipment across major brands, contributing to long-term security in a expanding business. Ideal candidates hold a trade qualification with 2+ years post-trade experience and a background in earthmoving or heavy mobile

Qualifications

• Trade qualification with at least 2 years post-trade experience.
• Earthmoving or heavy mobile plant background.
• Driver's licence; HR/MC desirable but not essential.
• Clear National Police Clearance.
• Able to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsabilités

• Service, maintain and repair heavy mobile plant.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs in the workshop.
• Attend breakdowns in the field when required.
• Complete servicing records and follow site safety procedures.

Want an even-time roster, a strong hourly rate, and a growing business that’s actually building its maintenance team? Our client is hiring two Heavy Duty Fitters on a back-to-back 2&2 FIFO roster in Leonora.

About Our Client

Our client is the maintenance arm of an established WA waste, recycling and resources group, with offices in Leonora, Kalgoorlie, Geraldton and Perth. The maintenance team has grown from one person to about 30 fitters, and 14 people have been hired this year alone. More work is coming, so this is a business where you can grow.

What’s On Offer

• $75 per hour + super, as a permanent full-time role
• 2&2 roster: two weeks on, two weeks off
• Public holidays: if you work one, you’re paid 8 hours public holiday pay on top of your 12 hours worked
• Mostly workshop-based, with field work only for breakdowns
• Site inductions provided

The Equipment

You’ll maintain surface equipment used mainly in scrap steel processing, across makes from Caterpillar to Sennebogen and Hitachi:

• excavators
• integrated tool carriers (ITs)
• material handlers
• shears
• balers

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair heavy mobile plant

About You

You’re a qualified Heavy Duty Fitter with an earthmoving background who likes variety and wants a stable, long-term FIFO role.

Requirements

• Trade qualification, with at least 2 years’ post-trade experience
• Earthmoving or heavy mobile plant background
• Driver’s licence (an HR or MC licence is desirable but not essential)
• Clear National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
