Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join the Port Hedland & East Pilbara Team for project work across multiple sites (RIO, BHP, FMG, Roy Hill). The role involves servicing and repairing a fleet of vehicles and earthmoving equipment, plus preventive maintenance to meet safety and pollution standards.

You will be responsible for fault finding, testing and reassembling components, with rosters supporting 2/1 or 8/6 shifts.

Qualifications

• Licences/certifications required for field service and safety compliance.
• Trade certificate and safety card are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and fault-finding of diesel assets including trucks, excavators, loaders, and light vehicles.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication and tune-ups to keep equipment compliant.
• Test, adjust and reassemble mechanical parts after repairs to ensure proper performance.

Job description

We’re seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Port Hedland & East Pilbara Team working on Project work across multiple site operations (RIO, BHP, FMG, Roy Hill)

Scope of work will include servicing, completing repairs and fault finding of assets of a fleet including but not limited to light vehicles, trucks, excavators, loaders, skid steers, tippers, watercarts and plate compactors; performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations; testing, adjusting and reassembling mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
