Job summary

RSGx is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our growing team across Western Australia and the Northern Territory. You will service, maintain, diagnose and repair heavy mobile plant to ensure safe, reliable operations on a variety of projects.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised trade qualification as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing heavy mobile plant and equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults.
• Complete breakdown repairs and minimise equipment downtime.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Accurately complete maintenance reports, service records and documentation.
• Assist with equipment rebuilds and component change-outs.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators and maintenance personnel to achieve objectives.
• Promote and contribute to a strong safety culture across all activities.
