Job summary

Skilled Jobs Australia in Adelaide invites an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established workshop focused on heavy trucks and 4WDs. You will perform scheduled maintenance and respond to breakdowns in a clean, modern facility.

You should have a Cert III with 2 years' experience or a Cert IV with 12 months, or 3+ years in the field, with HC license desirable. Isuzu and Iveco experience and strong fault-finding skills are highly valued, along with good communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

As an experienced full-time Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be repairing predominantly heavy trucks and 4WDS in a clean and modern workshop.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic. This role will include scheduled maintenance and breakdowns as well as major and minor fault finding repairing and/or replacement.

Our Client is a well-established commercial vehicle dealership with an engineering, and fabricating company that provides high-quality products to their clients.

About You

To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes:

• Relevant qualifications. You would need a Cert III with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Cert IV with at least 12 months relevant experience, or a minimum of 3 years experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
• HC License desirable.
• Experience working on Isuzu, Iveco and heavy commercial vehicles.
• Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Proven ability to be able to troubleshoot and diagnose faults.
• Experience in car carrier trailer repairs is highly advantageous

Preferred but not essential:

• Forklift license preferred.
• Experience in repairing earthmoving equipment.

Excellent salary range Between $77,000 to $85,000.00 plus superannuation.
