Job summary

Wilmar Sugar & Renewables in Proserpine, QLD, is seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanical Fitter to join the Mobile Services team at the Proserpine Mill. You’ll maintain, repair, and troubleshoot locomotives, mobile plant, and related equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations.

As a trade-qualified Diesel Fitter, you’ll work in a skilled maintenance team with opportunities to broaden your skills across a unique industrial environment while enjoying a stable, full-time role in the Whitsunday region.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter with relevant certs.
• Experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy mobile equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot locomotives and heavy mobile equipment.
• Work within a highly skilled maintenance team to ensure safe operations.
