Lightning HR PTY LTD is sourcing a Heavy Diesel Fitter for ongoing work in Toowoomba, QLD. You will join a supportive team and work on a variety of heavy equipment, trucks and machinery, with a long‑term career pathway.

The role covers heavy vehicles, loaders, excavators, lighting towers and small engines, focusing on servicing, fault finding and timely repairs. Monday to Friday shifts offer stability and weekends off.

Qualifications

• Experience as Heavy Diesel Fitter or Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on trucks, trailers and heavy equipment.

About the Role

You’ll be working on a diverse range of equipment, including:

• Heavy vehicles, trucks and trailers

• Loaders, excavators and other heavy machinery

• Lighting towers and associated equipment

• Small engines and equipment, including whipper snippers

• General servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Heavy Diesel Fitter or Diesel Mechanic

• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills

• Experience working on trucks, trailers and heavy equipment

• A reliable, hands‑on attitude and pride in your work
