Job summary

Emmetts is seeking a Heavy Diesel Ag Technical Trainer to lead technical training across South Australia. The role focuses on delivering internal programs, rolling out John Deere accredited training, and upskilling staff across our branch network.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on diesel expertise and a passion for sharing knowledge with peers and learners. You will travel to branches post-harvest to deliver sessions, work with a Certified Dealer Instructor, and drive the adoption of new

Qualifications

• Experienced Diesel Mechanic, Foreman or Service Manager transitioning to training.
• Strong knowledge of John Deere equipment and farm machinery.
• Proven ability to deliver effective training and upskill staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal training programs across the organisation, with emphasis on SA branches.
• Assist with rollout of John Deere accredited training and TechSTAR apprenticeship.
• Travel across branch network to deliver sessions and engage learners.
• Support the development of trainees and colleagues through practical coaching.
