Job summary

NSW Health Pathology is seeking a Technical Solution Architect to shape digital health and laboratory transformation initiatives across NSW. You will design secure, scalable solutions in hybrid AWS/Azure environments, aligning with enterprise standards and guiding technical decision-making within agile teams.

Based in St Leonards or Newcastle with flexible working options, you’ll lead architecture efforts across cancer genomics, interoperability and automation, delivering patient-centered

Qualifications

• Experience in Solution Architecture in large and complex environments.
• Knowledge of architecture patterns in workflow, integration and databases.
• Experience with TOGAF and enterprise architecture.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, PRINCE2/PMBOK frameworks.
• Full stack development skills such as TypeScript, Java, MuleSoft and Microsoft Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Guide solution design and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with standards.
• Lead sprint delivery and day-to-day management of sprint resources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, engineers and partners to translate requirements into architectures.
