Job summary

Yorke and Northern Local Health Network is seeking a Cook to join our healthcare food service. This permanent part-time role focuses on delivering safe, nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements and support the wellbeing of clients across Booleroo Centre and surrounding areas.

You will work with the Catering and Utilities Team Leader and multidisciplinary teams to uphold quality standards, food safety, and an exceptional dining experience for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing bulk meals and catering for dietary needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and distribute meals to quality standards.
• Support dietary, nutritional and special meal requirements.
• Manage food orders, stock control and kitchen coordination.
• Operate kitchen equipment and maintain food safety standards.
• Collaborate with care teams to deliver excellent service.
