Job summary

Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) is seeking a Cook to join our healthcare food service team in Yorke and Mid North. This casual, part-time opportunity focuses on preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for clients while supporting safe food handling standards.

You'll work with the Catering and Utilities Team Leader to meet dietary requirements, manage stock, and ensure timely meal distribution. Flexible arrangements and participation in salary packaging are available.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computer systems including MS Office.

About This Role

As a Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering safe, nutritious and high-quality meals while supporting the smooth operation of our healthcare food service.

Working closely with the Catering and Utilities Team Leader and multidisciplinary team, you'll help ensure meals meet dietary requirements, maintain food safety standards and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our clients.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare, cook and distribute meals to quality standards
• Support dietary, nutritional and special meal requirements
• Manage food orders, stock control and kitchen coordination
• Operate kitchen equipment and maintain food safety standards
• Work collaboratively with care teams to deliver excellent service

You will bring:
