The GEO Group’s Fulham Correctional Centre in Victoria is seeking Health & Wellbeing Officers who will design and deliver dynamic fitness, sport, and wellbeing programs for residents and staff. This full-time role offers a rotating roster and a salary of $83,566 plus super.

Qualifications

• Qualified (or working towards) in Fitness, Strength & Conditioning, Outdoor Recreation, or similar.
• Experience running group fitness, PT sessions, bootcamps, or strength programs.
• First Aid Level 2 (desirable)
• Understands safe training practices, OH&S, risk management & program structure

• Physically fit and confident leading from the front
• Passionate about mental wellbeing, mindset, and behaviour change
• Strong communicator who can engage, challenge, and inspire diverse groups
• Understands safe training practices, OH&S, risk management & program structure
• First Aid Level 2 (desirable)
• Team player with a positive, resilient mindset

Company Overview

Fulham Correctional Centre is the largest privately managed prison facility in rural Victoria, located in Fulham. With a focus on rehabilitation and reintegration, the Centre manages a population of up to 1049 male prisoners, including an 84 bed Nalu Transition Community Program. Our mission is to provide offenders with the opportunity to engage in work, education, and transformative programs that address the root causes of criminal behaviour.
