Job summary

SA Health’s Snowtown Hospital Services Team is seeking a reliable Services Assistant for casual shifts at Snowtown Health Unit. You will contribute to catering, cleaning and housekeeping operations, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment for clients and staff.

You’ll assist with meals, laundry, linen delivery, and minor repairs. On-the-job training is provided; onboarding includes safety and quality service commitments. A collaborative, team‑oriented attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, service and delivery of meals (breakfast, soups, quick-serve).
• Perform general cleaning duties including high windows and carpet shampooing.
• Support laundry tasks: washing, folding, ironing, delivering clean linen.
• Ensure food is plated and delivered promptly, accommodate dietary requirements.
• Complete minor sewing repairs and assist with stock recording.
