About Foxleigh Mine:
Foxleigh Mine is located 15km south of Middlemount and approx. 275km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine is in its 25th year of operation producing premium PCI metallurgical coal for use in steel manufacturing. About the Role:

Reporting to the Health, Safety & Training team, this role provides critical administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth delivery of safety, training, and compliance activities across site. You’ll play a key part in onboarding, record keeping, system support, and communication that helps keep our people safe and engaged.

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this hands-on and varied role, you’ll:

  • Provide Administration & Team Support – Respond to enquiries, assist with audits and inspections, and provide general administrative support to the HST team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Training & Induction – Coordinate induction bookings, assist with induction delivery, maintain training records in Damstra, update the site Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and manage logistics for training sessions.
  • Document & Record Management – Maintain accurate document control, ensuring compliance, version control, and proper storage of reports and audit records.
  • Reporting & Communications – Prepare weekly/monthly reports, issue site-wide safety alerts and training requests, and coordinate meeting agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
  • Systems & Process Support – Provide continuity in systems such as Damstra and myOSH and improve efficiency through tools such as Power Automate and other Microsoft 365 Apps.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong organisational and administration skills with attention to detail.
  • Has solid understanding of document control requirements.
  • Is confident using systems (experience with Damstra, myOSH & Microsoft 365 Apps such as SharePoint, Power Automate & Power BI is highly regarded).
  • Can communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Thrives in a busy environment and enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in mining, safety, or training administration is desirable but not essential.
