Job summary

Calleo is seeking a Research & Evaluation Officer (APS6 Equiv) to lead and deliver research, evaluation, and evidence-based insights for health-related digital programs within a government agency.

The role uses qualitative and quantitative methods to assess effectiveness, translate findings into practical recommendations, and support informed decision-making, continuous improvement, and better organisational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Research and evaluation experience across qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Strong analytical skills and evidence-based decision-making.
• Experience developing evaluation frameworks and research methods.
• Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration abilities.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver results independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver research, evaluation and analysis projects aligned with Agency priorities.
• Design and implement qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method research activities.
• Analyse and interpret data to generate evidence-based insights and recommendations.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, performance measures and monitoring approaches.
• Prepare clear reports, briefings and presentations for a range of stakeholders.
• Provide advice on research and evaluation practices while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
