Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) seeks an Analyst to design, develop, implement and maintain the SHILD database and related statewide systems, collaborating with IT and clinical stakeholders to ensure reliable data flows and user-friendly interfaces.

You will provide system support, training, and contribute to the SDLC milestones, leveraging C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, SQL Server, HL7, and AWS in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Information Technology degree or relevant work experience in IT systems.
• Proven ability to develop information systems using C#, ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server DB administration and design, including functions, views and stored procedures; REDCap or similar data collection.
• Experience in the information system development life cycle (SDLC) in healthcare.
• Strong analytical and problem solving, with rapid fault rectification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholders in change contexts.
• Knowledge of digital platforms and analytics tools (Google Analytics, AWS, Amazon Connect).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain SHILD and statewide systems (e.g., SHIL) as required.
• Provide system support and staff training on request.
• Collaborate with IT manager on design, development and deployment milestones.
• Contribute to system architecture and data quality initiatives in a healthcare setting.
