St John of God Warrnambool Hospital is seeking a motivated Health Information Services Officer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. You will support management, maintenance and security of patient health information, ensuring records are accurate and readily accessible to support quality patient care.

The role is scheduled for Wednesdays and Fridays, six hours per day with a 30-minute lunch, pro rata for part-time, with potential for additional hours across other hospital areas.

• Healthcare environment experience and exposure to patient administration systems is desirable.

You will play an important role in supporting the management, maintenance and security of patient health information, ensuring records are accurately maintained and readily available to support quality patient care. The position is anticipated to work Wednesdays and Fridays, six hours per day plus a 30-minute lunch break, with the potential for additional administrative hours across other areas of the hospital for candidates seeking increased hours. **Your skills and experience**You will bring demonstrated experience in an administrative or clerical role with accurate keyboard, computer and data entry skills, along with well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience within a healthcare environment and exposure to patient administration systems will be highly regarded.
