Job summary

A leading leisure management organisation in Sydney seeks a Health Club Manager to oversee operations at a busy community fitness facility in South West Sydney. You will drive member experience, lead a team of instructors and trainers, and own the health club's performance—from hygiene and safety to programming and revenue growth.

You will implement high standards, coach staff, manage rosters, and build an inclusive fitness community with onboarding and engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate IV in Fitness.
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009).
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) for NSW (Employee status).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in gym management, floor supervision, or team leadership within the fitness/leisure sector.
• Registration with AUSactive (or eligibility to register) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily gym floor operations, ensuring hygiene, safety, and equipment maintenance.
• Lead, coach, and roster gym floor instructors and personal trainers to deliver outstanding service and results.
• Build a vibrant, inclusive fitness community through high-touch member engagement, effective onboarding, and active feedback management.
• Drive health club revenue streams, monitor membership growth and retention KPIs, and manage operational costs.
• Oversee member fitness programs, consultations, and gym floor activations in line with broader site strategies.
