Yarrawonga Health is seeking Health Care Workers to join Allawah Memory Support Unit in Yarrawonga. You will support nurses and staff in delivering person-centred care and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for residents.

We offer shift patterns across mornings, afternoons and some nights, Monday through Sunday, with availability for nights, weekends and public holidays. Join us to build a meaningful, long-term career in rural health.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to compassionate care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and development.
• Ability to work nights, public holidays and weekends.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) – CHC33021 or equivalent.
• Previous experience in Health, Aged Care, or support role.
• Current Level 1 First Aid certificate.

About the role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Workers to join our team at Allawah Memory Support Unit. In this role, you will support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You'll play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and respectful environment while helping residents maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals, your responsibilities will include personal care, assistance with daily living, and creating positive interactions that support our residents’ physical and emotional well-being.

We offer flexibility with shift patterns available across mornings, afternoons, and some nights, Monday through Sunday, to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.

As we provide 24/7 care, you must be available to work nights, weekends and public holidays

About You:

You are passionate about continuing to grow your career within the Rural Health industry.
