St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne is seeking a Health Assistant (Nursing) to join the 8 EAST General Medicine ward, working under the Nurse Unit Manager and alongside Registered Nurses. You will support patient care, assist with activities, and help maintain privacy and dignity in line with hospital policies.

The role requires Certificate III Health Service Assistance and completion of mandatory units; you will work a rotating roster, including night duty, in a supportive team focused on

Qualifikationen

• Completion of Certificate III Health Service Assistance (Assisting in Nursing work in Acute Care).
• Must have completed the following mandatory elective units: HLTAIN001, HLTAIN002, CHCCCS002, CHCCCS020, CHCCCS026.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a wider team.
• Great interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliability in relation to attendance and completion of assigned tasks.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, a customer service setting or similar.
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including night duty.
• Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain

• Work as part of a wider ward team under the supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM).
• Contribute to positive patient outcomes by ensuring delegated work is completed accurately.
• Assist nursing team in acute care environment and support patient care.
