Join the team at Kurri Kurri District Hospital as a Health and Security Assistant, where you’ll play an important role in supporting patients, assisting nursing staff and helping maintain a safe, clean and well-functioning hospital environment.
You’ll assist nurses with the safe moving and lifting of patients, while also undertaking portering and cleaning duties to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the hospital. You’ll respond to alarms and incidents as required, helping to ensure patients, visitors and staff feel safe and supported.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, with guidance from fellow Health and Security Assistants, the Site Nurse Manager and After-Hours Coordinator.
Kurri Kurri District Hospital is part of the Lower Hunter Sector, serving the communities of Kurri Kurri, Abermain, Weston and Heddon Greta.
The hospital provides a comprehensive range of services, including medical and specialist surgical services, rehabilitation, emergency and allied health services.
