Job summary

DT Infrastructure seeks an experienced Health and Safety Advisor for Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm site in South Australia. You will support construction teams, promote a positive safety culture and deliver compliant project outcomes on site.

The role is local to South Australia with a 14/7 DIDO roster from Adelaide, reporting to the HSE Manager and collaborating with leadership, contractors and suppliers to implement HSE plans and the Integrated Management System.

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an HSE practitioner role, with relevant industry experience.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, risk assessments and corrective actions.
  • Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Current C Class driver's licence and the ability to work a 14/7 DIDO roster from Adelaide.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams to implement HSE plans, policies, procedures and initiatives.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, field observations and high-risk work reviews.
  • Coach and support managers, supervisors, workers and contractors on HSE requirements.
  • Monitor risk registers, corrective actions, incidents and near misses, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with HSE training, inductions, incident investigations, reporting and emergency preparedness.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our project team at Carmody’s Hill Wind Farm in South Australia.

This is a site-based opportunity for a safety professional who is passionate about creating a positive safety culture and working closely with construction teams to deliver safe and compliant project outcomes.

The role will suit someone local to South Australia, with a 14 days on / 7 days off DIDO roster from Adelaide.

Reporting to the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, you will work closely with project leadership, operational teams, contractors and suppliers to implement DTI's HSE Management Plans and Integrated Management System.

Key Responsibilities
