Job summary

Yorke and Northern Local Health Network is seeking a Health Ancillary Worker (Casual) to support meal service, cleaning, laundry and stock recording at Clare. You will help keep the health unit running smoothly and respond to client dietary needs with care.

No prior catering or housekeeping experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and delivering quality service to patients and staff under casual terms.

• Salary: WHD2 - $31.70 to $32.28 per hour + 25% casual loading

Your Role:

As a Health Ancillary Worker, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the health unit runs efficiently by:

• Assisting with the preparation, service, and delivery of meals, including breakfast, soups, and quick-serve foods.
• Performing general cleaning duties, including high window cleaning and carpet shampooing, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for clients.
• Supporting laundry tasks like washing, folding, ironing, and delivering clean linen.
• Ensuring that food is plated and delivered promptly, while also responding to client dietary requirements with care.
• Completing minor sewing repairs and assisting with stock recording.

No previous experience in catering or housekeeping? No problem! We’ll provide on-the-job training to help you succeed.
