The NSW Department of Education invites applications for Head Teacher Administration at Epping Boys High School. This role leads the school's administration, supports staff, and ensures efficient operations across middle and senior campuses in a high-performing, diverse environment.
You will drive data-informed planning, oversee digital administration tools such as Edval, Sentral and SAP, and partner with the executive team to deliver excellence in teaching, wellbeing and community engagement.
Epping Boys High School is a proudly comprehensive high school for boys with an enrolment of over 1550. A Middle School and Senior School structure recognises and enhances the learning and wellbeing needs of all students and is complemented by the Boys to Men Program which engages boys in learning, promotes wellbeing and builds young men who are connected to their community. 1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria, applicants need to address the specific criteria below.
1.Demonstrated capacity and successful experience in developing and overseeing online administration software such as Edval, Sentral, SAP and schoolbytes, to allow for the management of school staffing and day to day operation of the school.
2. High level organisational, communication and proven problem-solving skills to manage whole school events, assessment schedules and programs.
3. Demonstrated capacity to lead data informed practice andwork collaboratively as a productive member of the school executive teamto implement whole-school improvement processes that support the school’s strategic directions.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to sustain quality relationships and support a committed executive team in maintaining high academic, social and cultural expectations across the school and community.
