Killara High School seeks a Head Teacher Welfare to lead student welfare across a large, diverse community. The role focuses on managing wellbeing, attendance and behavioural interventions for a substantial student cohort and coordinating with external agencies and primary schools to support student success.

The successful candidate will align with the department’s goals, drive whole-school welfare strategies, and participate in leadership teams to advance student outcomes and school wellbeing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage robust stage three to stage four transition processes ensuring every student is known, valued and cared for.
• Proven ability to oversee wellbeing, attendance and behaviour interventions for a large cohort and to work with external agencies, staff and families.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with partner primary schools and lead interschool programs.
