Job summary

Millenba, located in Tennyson, Brisbane, Queensland, seeks a Head of Department - Student Services to lead student wellbeing initiatives and engagement across the school community. You will guide staff, oversee multidisciplinary supports, and drive planning, monitoring, and review of programmes for students with complex mental health

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in student services or wellbeing
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong commitment to inclusion and student engagement
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and strength-based approaches

Responsibilities

• Oversee case management processes and student supports.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of student services systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support re-engagement in learning.
• Guide staff in wellbeing initiatives and consistent school-wide practices.
• Support transitions across pathways including senior education, training or employment.
