Good Shepherd Lutheran College invites applications from suitably qualified teachers interested in the leadership opportunity of Head of Student Learning, Pathways and Partnerships (Years 10-12).

This Position of Additional Responsibility (PAR) provides an opportunity to lead the strategic direction of senior years learning, pathways and partnership programs, while supporting student achievement, career readiness and successful post-school transitions. The successful applicant will continue in a substantive teaching position while undertaking this significant leadership role.

About the Opportunity

The Head of Student Learning, Pathways and Partnerships (Years 10-12) plays a key leadership role in overseeing curriculum, assessment and learning pathway programs across the senior years. Working collaboratively with Learning Area Coordinators, Year Level Coordinators, staff, students and external partners, the successful applicant will lead initiatives that strengthen academic, vocational and career pathways while supporting student success and future readiness.

Key areas of focus include:

• Senior years curriculum leadership and quality assurance
• Teaching and learning excellence across Years 10-12
• Student achievement, engagement and differentiated pathway planning
• Leadership, mentoring and development of pathway and careers staff
• Data-informed decision making and continuous improvement
• Academic, vocational and career pathway development
• Partnerships with industry, tertiary providers and the wider community
• Strategic initiatives that support student retention, career readiness and positive graduate outcomes

What We Offer

• Permanent full-time teaching position with a three-year leadership appointment as Head of Student Learning, Pathways and Partnerships (Years 10-12)
• Additional PAR allowance of approximately$21,130 gross per annum ($22,040 from July 2027)
• 0.5 FTE leadership release
• Competitive remuneration package, including 6 weeks annual leave, with a salary range of $95,551 to $137,031 gross per annum
