Padua College in Brisbane is seeking a Head of Sport to lead our co-curricular sporting program and align it with the College's mission and strategic plan. You will provide strategic direction, oversee pathways and athlete development, and manage budgets and governance for a safe, inclusive and high-quality sporting experience for students. The role includes a permanent teaching position and a four-year leadership term.

Competenze

• Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Educational Leadership, Sports Management, Leadership or related field highly regarded.
• Demonstrated leadership in school sport, sports administration, education, community sport or similar complex organisation.
• Recognised coaching accreditation and/or demonstrated leadership in a school sporting environment.

Mansioni

• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the College's strategic vision for sport, ensuring alignment with Mission, Values, Strategy and student development priorities.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the sustained growth of the College's sporting programs and pathways.
• Develop and manage the annual Co-curricular Sport budget and ensure resources align with college priorities.
• Lead frameworks that support participation growth, athlete development, competitive excellence and positive student experiences.
• Establish governance, compliance and risk-management frameworks for safe and effective delivery of all sporting programs and events.
• Provide strategic leadership for workforce planning, coaching structures, succession planning and leadership development within the sporting program.
