Queensland Government's Department of Education is seeking a dedicated coordinator to support the Special Education Program and Early Childhood Development Program. You will advise leaders, organise targeted teaching interventions, and coordinate case management for students requiring significant adjustments.

You will build partnerships with parents, agencies and community groups, monitor student disability data, and ensure delivery of quality inclusive education across the school.

Qualificações

• Experience coordinating Special Education Program and Early Childhood Development Program.
• Ability to advise school leaders and staff on planning and implementing appropriate adjustments for students with disability.
• Experience organizing targeted teaching interventions and coordinating case management for students requiring substantial or extensive adjustments.
• Ability to build partnerships with parents, government agencies and community groups.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the delivery of quality advice and support through the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program.
• Advise school leaders and staff on planning and implementing appropriate adjustments to meet learning needs of students with disability.
• Organise targeted teaching interventions and coordinate case management for students requiring substantial or extensive adjustments, while supporting staff access to specialist services and professional development.
• Contribute to school planning and decision-making, maintain systems to monitor students with disability, and coordinate the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability.
• Build partnerships with parents, government agencies and community groups, managing human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources to achieve program goals.
