Job summary

Qualifications

• Approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education.
• Experience leading the Special Education team to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes for students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of and commitment to Aboriginal education policy in NSW.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Special Education team and implement the school’s strategic directions within the faculty and across the school.
• Collaborate with the school executive team and Special Education Faculty to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes for students with disabilities.
• Build a positive team culture, support staff wellbeing, and communicate effectively with students, staff, parents/caregivers, and external agencies.
• Lead initiatives to maximise educational outcomes for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students.
