Job summary

Minderoo Foundation seeks a credible leader to shape the next phase of sector development and field building in Australia. You will connect philanthropy, community organisations and social enterprises to turn ideas into practical change.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Effective Philanthropy, you will build partnerships, identify opportunities, and deliver initiatives that strengthen networks and shared infrastructure across the for-purpose sector.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Australia's for-purpose sector, policy and funding environment.
• Record of initiating and delivering strategic change.
• Experience developing or evolving sector strategies using evidence and stakeholder input.

Responsibilities

• Shape future sector priorities using evidence and sector perspectives.
• Identify emerging opportunities where collaboration or reform can help the sector.
• Turn opportunities into concrete initiatives with clear outcomes.
• Strengthen networks and shared infrastructure through partnerships and investments.
• Advance practical innovation in giving, funding access and collaboration.
• Build relationships across organisations to enable collective action.
