Warrawong High School in NSW seeks an inspirational Head Teacher to lead whole-school initiatives and drive improvement in teaching, learning and assessment. You will work with the school executive to implement data-informed strategies that enhance student outcomes for a diverse cohort and NSW HSC performance.

The role requires Unconditional Teaching Approval and experience leading staff to improve classroom practice, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to Aboriginal education

Formación

• Demonstrated expertise in visibly leading a faculty through improvement initiatives, using data to drive and evaluate improvements in student HSC performance.
• Proven experience leading staff to respond to diverse learning needs, including Aboriginal students and students with disability.
• Ability to work on the school executive team to lead whole-school initiatives using evidence, evaluation and planning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead and foster a culture of trust and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare; lead inclusive teaching and learning programs.
• Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance of individuals and teams.
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, staff and parents.
• Ability to plan and manage resources to support teaching and learning.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
